Blockering Ukrainian ports risks major export losses through 2027
The National Bank of Ukraine estimates that the disruption of maritime exports through blocked Black Sea ports will cause significant losses for agriculture and industry. Exports partially recovered in September after rerouting, but limited capacity on the Danube ports and railways, higher logistics costs and continued Russian attacks constrain the adjustment.
